Titanium Adapter is intended to secure exit site end of the Peritoneal Dialysis catheter to the transfer set used during Peritoneal dialysis therapy.
The titanium adapter is a two Piece luer lock system with a barbed end and a threaded cover.
The adapter is designed to provide a permanent threaded closure when used with a standard CAPD transfer set.

Precautions:

1. Observe aseptic techniques at all times.
2. Do not use acetone, alcohol or any solution containing alcohol on any part of the catheter Exposure to these agents may cause catheter damage. Use of aqueous based solution is recommended.
3. Do not instill any type of povidone iodine solution into the proximal end of the catheter Instilling such solutions can shorten the life of the catheter.
4. For single use only. Discard, do not re-sterilize after use.
5. Do not use components if package has been previously opened or is damaged.
6. Do not use these components if they are damaged or appear defective.
7. To avoid exposure to blood-borne pathogens observe universal precautions during use.
