To support “Drain-Flush-Fill” step during CAPD procedure.

To open and close the PD fluid in fill line and in drain line during exchange procedure.

Open clamp and place across the tubing as per drawing.

a) Press to stop fluid flow

b) Open to allow fluid flow

3. Please follow CAPD exchange protocol.

Once the drainage is completed, close the transfer set line with clamp

Now open the blue tube clamp provided on the tubing of the CAPD solution bag and the connector and allow the new solution to flow into the drainage container while you count from 1001 to 1005 slowly. This is required to flush or remove any air in the primary tube. Close the drain tubing using the blue tube clamp.

Open the transfer set clamp and allow the infusion of CAPD solution into the peritoneum On completion of infusion, close the transfer set clamp and then the blue tube clamp on the primary tubing. This will ensure that air does not enter into peritoneum
