Description

To drain out peritoneal dialysis fuid from peritoneum.
Do not Reuse
Do not use if package has been previously opened or damaged.
Discard,afteruse.Donotre-sterilize
Do not use if outer wrapper has any signs of moisture or color change.
Procedure:
Wear the FaceMask.
Keep the Doors and Windows Closed.
Switch off the Fan and the A/C.
Do 6 Step of handwashing and air dry the hands properly
Clean theTable and clean the outer cover of the3 Ltr efluent bag using sterillium and pealopen the outer cover(Make sure the inner bag is not touched)
Place the transfer set on the Sterile Drape.
Carefully remove the 3 Ltr efuent bag from the pouch
.Hold the Grip of Efluent transfer Bag connecter in one hand and using the other hand lift the Transfer set and remove the Cap of the transfer set.
Connect the 3 L tr efuent Bag to the transfer set and slightly twist to tighten.
Open the transfer set twist lock and also open the clamp on the drain line for the efuent to drain.
Once the drain is completed close the clamp on the drain line.
Close the transfer set by turning the twist lock.
Use sterillium and clean your hands.
.Open a new sterile transfer set Cap.
Carefully disconnect the drain bag from the Transfer set(Follow instructions as per IFU of Transfer set cap).
The disconnected 3 L tr efuent bag with efuent is ready for measurement / Clarity checking / Sample collection.
