Description
Unisynth Fast-Braided and Coated Polyglactin 910 Fast is synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of a copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. In house needle manufacturing provides you the better needles with optimum sharpness which finally delivers smooth riding on tissues during suturing.
Indications:
Due to low molecular weight compared to the regular polyglactin 910 or polyglycolic acid suture, Unisynth fast sutures achieve rapid absorption in the tissues, it retains the tensile strength of about 50% of strength at 5days of implantation and are ideal for short term wound support. It is a much more superior alternative to catgut sutures since its absorption is more predictable, tensile strength is better and it exhibits little or no tissue reaction.

Unisynth Fast Suture are used in general surgery, gynecological, Gastro-intestinal tract surgery, ophthalmic procedures. It is not used for cardiovascular and neurological procedures.
